Make sure your unit is on a ﬂat and stable surface.

Locate the shipping straps and carefully, using scissors or a utility knife, cut the straps and discard.
Grip the sleeve only both sides and lift it straight up and o the unit.

Once the sleeve is removed, it will reveal a box positioned on top of the unit, which contains the installation kit.

Please ensure that all packaging is disposed of or stored safely where it will not be a danger to children or pets. In the unlikely event of having to return your dehumidiﬁer for repair, cardboard packaging will be required. You may wish to consider this before disposing of the packaging.

स्थान
The unit is designed to be installed in the loft space of the dwelling. Two ceiling diusers are to be installed in a central location, within 2 meters of the unit and in a central location inside of the dwelling, ideally a hallway. The ceiling diusers are to be connected to the unit with ﬂexible duct work.

Your dehumidiﬁer will not operate should the temperature drop below 5c or go above 26°C.

Find suitable location for unit in loft area, determine position for inlet/outlet diusers along with the drainage point.
Cite and secure unit to ceiling joists using the anti-vibration mounts and screws provided. (ensure the unit is positioned higher than the selected water drain point of the dwelling).

Drill 150mm cut-outs for ceiling diusers. Ensure each diuser is a minimum of 1.5m away from the other to stop the air paths short circuiting and recycling.
Secure diuser spigot ring into ceiling on dwelling side of ceiling. Repeat for both inlet and outlet.

Assemble the short length of 200mm duct onto the spigot rings within the loft space.
Cut and assemble ﬂexible ducting from the reducer to both the inlet and outlet of the product, secure using the cable ties provided. Ensure no kinks or tight bends which result in the ducting to collapse occur.

Install the inlet and exhaust ceiling diusers. When setting up diusers and connecting to unit with ducting, make sure the diuser with the intake ﬁlter on is connected to the air inlet. This is important to prevent any dust and debris from getting into the system.
Connect supplied permanent drainpipe to spigot located on back of unit. Run pipe to a drain point, ideally under the soffits and into the guttering. Ideally run the hose under insulation to prevent freezing. Avoid tight bends, sharp edges and spotlights.
Wire the ﬂying mains cable out of the unit into a 13A fused spur.

Select the desired running mode, SMART or Continuous using the F1 switch shown below. Continuous is “OFF” and SMART is “ON”.

Your dehumidiﬁer works by extracting humidity from the air when the relative humidity (RH) level in your location is too high. A sensor detects the collected water, which then activates a pump to remove it from the unit.
All settings for your dehumidiﬁer are controlled remotely via a desktop or mobile device.
Your device will be switched on when connected to power source and can be switched on and o through the online dashboard. This provides signiﬁcant convenience and safety as you won’t need to physically interact with your dehumidiﬁer to change modes and settings.
Once the unit is running, you can adjust the following features:

Mode (Stat or Smart)
Stat mode will run continuously at fan speed that has been set, however smart mode will operate to achieve the set extraction rate.

If your device comes up with a fault it allows for the fault to be cleared to allow the machine to keep running.
Your unit will arrive with factory-set default settings of 25% fan speed and 2L per day extraction. You can adjust these settings from the dashboard once you have access to it.

The automatic drainage system allows your unit to drain collected water directly through a hose to an external outlet or drain. This feature allows continuous operation, as the unit doesn’t need to be emptied.

SET UP – DASHBOARD
The dashboard can be viewed on both desktop and mobile device. The unit will automatically connect and display on the dashboard when powered (please allow up to 15 minutes for the dashboard to update).

Simply download the Things Board app or open it on a browser. (Using the web page details provided)

Enter your provided login details as shown in the example and click the login button.
You should now have access to the dashboard for your unit.
From here you’re able to control your unit remotely and see how it is performing.

टीप: Your dashboard and login page will look dierent to what is shown within this manual as each Dashboard is customised for the client.
The dashboard will allow you to remotely customise and change your dehumidiﬁer performance, including adjusting your fan speed, extraction rate, and the operating mode of your dehumidifier.

On the dashbord your also able to see a live reading of the dehumidifer and how it is operating. This is presented on a graph and shows you how your unit has been running for the past three days.
The graph of information will display things such as:
– In and Out RH – Humidity levels of air being taken in and pushed out.
– In and Out AH – Absolue humidity, the amount of water vapour in the air regardless of temperature.
– In and Out T – Shows the temperature of air being taken in and pushed out.
– Drain – The amount of water drained since 8AM (water drains in 200ml incriments).

If the unit was to cause a fault both the dashboard and units PCB will indicate what fault has been triggered. In the rare chance of a fault occurring with your unit, here is a list of instructions to follow to troubleshoot and ﬁx it:

First you will need to gain access to the PCB, to do this you will ﬁrst need to remove the ﬂexible ducts from both the intake and exhaust airways.

Then remove all of the bolts securing the metal wraparound, this should free the metal component and allow you to carefully lift it o. Place your screws and metal wraparound in a safe location for reassembly.
You should now be able to see your PCB on the left-hand side of the unit, from here identify the small chip highlighted on the image. This should be illuminated with a speciﬁc color.
Refer to the table below and match your color with the ones listed. The table then gives a description of your problem and the next recommended action to take.
Once you have completed the recommended action you can refer to the troubleshooting column in the table to ﬁnd out how to ﬁx the identiﬁed issue.

Your dashboard will provide real-time information about the status of your unit. The dashboard will display one of the nine possible states below. The “dashboard – display” column is the message that will be displayed on your dashboard. You can then refer to the troubleshooting section for guidance on how to resolve the issue.

This unit is designed for low maintenance and thanks to the automatic drainage system the unit requires very minimal upkeep. This feature eliminates the need to manually empty the water tank, meaning the unit can operate continuously with very little intervention.

The ﬁlter on your inlet diuser will need to be cleaned every four months. Failure to do so will reduce the performance of your dehumidiﬁer and may over time lead to a permanent reduction in performance.

Unscrew the bottom plate to reveal and remove the ﬁlter.
HOSE & DRAINAGE
Check that there are no kinks or clogs in your hose and make sure it is properly attached to the unit and the outlet to avoid any leaks or blockages.
