TIPS FOR USING CUDDY
NUMBER ONES
- Cuddy is a urine-diverting toilet – the seat is specially designed to divert liquids forward into the urine bottle to prevent them from mixing with solids.
- Sit down when peeing. Make sure the plates covering the solids bin are closed when only urinating. Small quantities of liquid that fall on the plates will also be diverted to the main urine drain.
When the urine bottle needs to be emptied, the Urine Level Indicator LED will turn on.- To empty the urine bottle, lift the seat, remove the bottle, and unscrew the drain сар. Just in case, pour slowly to avoid splashback!

- Try not to put toilet paper in Cuddy’s solids bin. Toilet paper takes longer to break down, can become wrapped around the agitator, and may fill up the solids bin quicker. We recommend putting the used toilet paper into a separate bin with any wipes and sanitary products.
- Stowing the legs in the upward position will lock the bin in place – a good idea for bumpy roads.
- When emptying, use the handy handles on the base of the solids bin to dump solids
QUICK SETUP FOR YOUR CUDDY
- Take your Cuddy out of the box. Remove any packaging and lift the top seat of Cuddy to see the magic inside
- Carefully remove the masking tape holding the covering plates together.
- Remove the carbon filter from its packaging and ensure both end caps are clear of tape and any other obstructions.
- Unlock the solids bin by extending the handle at the front and rotating it 180 degrees so that the legs on the agitator point down towards the base.
- Remove the solid bin.
- Connect the 12V power cable to an appropriately fused power supply. Cuddy draws 0.1A, so a low ampएरेज फ्यूजची शिफारस केली जाते.
- Insert the male connector into the power connection at the rear of Cuddy.
- Confirm the fan is working by feeling the airflow at the back of the unit. Press the carbon filter onto the circular fitting to secure it.
- Replace the solids bin in the toilet. Next, place a carbon-rich cover material such as coco coir, organic pet bedding, or wood shavings into the base of the solids bin. There should be enough to cover at least half of the agitator’s legs. The cover material should be crumbly and slightly damp to the touch – better too dry than too moist. - Insert a 9V battery into the battery box for the Smart Urine Level Indicator LED. Confirm that the LED is working by turning the bottle upside down and touching the sensor on the front of the bottle. For more information, scan the QR code and find the how-to video.
- Give Cuddy a good wipe-down to remove any dirt or debris left over from the manufacturing and shipping process.

Remove the solids bin, urine bottle, and carbon filter from the toilet. Disassemble the carbon filter housing by removing the four corner screws. Invert the airflow adapter under the receiver so that it is facing the opposite direction, insert the flyscreen provided and screw back into place. This will allow air to vent out of the exhaust tube on the back of Cuddy.
